Solar energy that doesn’t block the view
A team of researchers at Michigan State University has developed a new type of solar concentrator that when placed over a window creates solar energy while allowing people to actually see through the window. It is called a transparent luminescent solar concentrator and can be used on buildings, cell phones and any other device that has a clear surface. And, according to Richard Lunt of MSU’s College of Engineering, the key word is “transparent.”
For me, if I read the book before I go see the movie I will over analyze everything and get annoyed that they didn’t include this or that and then I end up not enjoying the movie. But if I watch the movie first then read the book it’s like finding out behind the scenes information. To get a deeper look into the story without hating on the movie. Either way it doesn’t really bother me if I see the movie or read the book first. The only time I get really touchy about movie adaptations is if I’m obsessed with the book. Also I like when my favorite books become movie adaptations but if I re-read the books before I see the movie I get frustrated if it’s not the way I originally pictured which I know isn’t fair. So I figure why ruin my experience. Idk that’s just me.
I’m like this too. It’s also easier for me to picture in my head what’s happening if I’ve already seen the movie, and then I can use the movie characters instead of trying to imagine what they look like.
